there was a crispness in the air this morning-i could wear tights without dying from the heat and humidity. i have always loved the look of colored tights with clothes but in the past i hesitated to wear anything other than black or navy because i felt that it might be too young of a look for me to pull off. on a whim last winter i bought these royal blue tights, most likely because they were on sale for $1.99. i never wore them. i think the dress looks better with the tights than it did when i wore it with sandals and bare legs this summer. i adore my members only-esque jacket. the more i wear it the more i love it. my dad is a preacher which meant every sunday was an all day church event. fall meant new black patent leather shoes with a giant grosgrain bow on the top and in the spring i would get the exact same pair in white patent leather. these kate spade shoes remind me on sunday shoes and for that reason they will never go out of style for me.
