Sheer exhaustion and a mean case of the blahs have kept me from doing anything creative with flowers for a few weeks. Yesterday on the way home I managed to stop at Trader Joe's to see what floral yumminess they had. I picked a bouquet of irises, sunflowers and a mixed bouquet with some assorted flowers and a few red sunflowers. I finally used on of garden urns I picked up at Michael's for $5 at the end of season sale last summer. This is what I came up with. It's not bad for a 2 a.m. project.
