four eyes

I've worn glasses for 30 years! They are so much a part of face that I like strange(and a bit tipsy)without them. Long gone are the days of having to pay $400 for a pair! I scored this pair of aqua specs from zenni optical for ...are you sitting down? Seriously, you might need a chair...$20! Yes, that includes the lenses with my fairly intense prescription. One week and  $25 bucks(with delivery) later, I've got a brand new and  pretty awesome pair of glasses.

Two thoughts today:

• A sunny yellow dress is the perfect cure for a case of the Mondays.
• The first bare leg outing of the year is FRIGHTENING! {good lord, mama needs some sun and a few bootcamp workouts to whip those things into shape!}

and, I just referred to myself as mama{and in third person!}on the Internet...awkward;) 

lately

Lately...

I've been all about my business. Really putting myself out there. It's exhilarting and terrifying! I participated in my first bridal show{for non-traditional couples!}and I the best time, despite my growing social anxiety{ain't nobody got time for that!}. So life has become proposal writing, following up with contacts and not much else-unless you count Real Housewives reunions and quiet nights with the pup and my husband;) I finally got a new camera! Cue the photo dump in 3, 2, 1...
